Bull City Football for Starters (BCF4S) are the thoughts, experiences and two cents about all things football as seen from the eyes of The DurhamFBFan. Follow the DFBFan on Twitter @durhamfbfan [Link]. Like to comment or have a question you can email the DFBFan at durhamfbfan [at] gmail dot com.

As our name implies, we start in one of the most interesting cities in North Carolina and expand from there, where exactly we end up is only limited by the time in hand.  As someone that has had the privilege to live on both the east and west coast as well as overseas, including about nine overall 'hometowns' at one time or another, I can honestly say that the diversity of perspective in this region as well as the pride of those that call the Bull City their home is something that I've only experienced here and it's a part of what makes talking high school football in Durham a great jumping off point - Just 4 Starters!

We offer our sincere thanks for taking the time to visit BCF4S and hope that you find a bit of enjoyment and relaxation while you are here!

  1. I would like to see more articles on the Jordan Falcons Football Team. They did win the Holt Brothers 7-on-7 passing tournament. Talk about Phillip Williamson, Joey Man QB, John Brown RB, Jeff Clark WR, and a host of new players that will make the Falcons a contender in the PAC-6.

  2. What about Nick Drew, the senior CB at Jordan High. Don't sleep on him.

  3. Thanks for checking out the blog! We are in the process of writing an article on the Holt Foundation 7 on 7. We've been in contact with some of the Falcons and have some photos as well as comments from the Jordan team. Appears they are doing quite well this off-season!

Also, be sure to check out the Holt Foundation 7-on-7 article we already have running on the blog.

  4. I heard that corner from Durham Jordan is supposed to be a sleeper all-conference corner, Nick Drew. Been hearing good things about him. Falcons should have a good season
